Catherine Unger is an Art Director / 2D Game Artist / Illustrator based in the sunny town of London.
A strong foundation in Illustration and Animation and 12+ years experience in games / digital interactive industry, working with a wide of range of clients including SFB Games, State of Play Games, Broken Rules, HBO, Nintendo, Disney, Annapurna, BBC, Tate, Cadbury’s, Channel 4.
She has contributed to a number of award winning games where she provided art direction, concept art, GUI, final in-game assets and occasionally, narrative writing. During her time in the games industry, she has been named a BAFTA Breakthrough, Apple’s One to Watch, London Lodestar, Games Industry Biz 100 Rising Stars in the UK and selected to be a part of London Games Festival’s cohort: Ensemble.
Outside of the games industry, she spends her time working on commissioned and personal illustrations, which usually consists of worried looking animals and sentient plants.
